How to write a STRONG resume!

We're are soon about to become fresh graduates and enter the labour workforce. Writing up a striking resume is very important to catch the attention of a potential employer and secure an interview! Here are some tips on how to get your CV good to go.

1) Less is more

You might be tempted to include key details about your job experiences to provide a clear picture of what you did in your previous experiences. But research shows that employers are more selective in the headhunting process and prefer CVs that are straight to the point and easier to read. So, keep it brief and simple!

2) Use ''action verbs''

To show that you are capable, diligent and someone who takes initiative, you'll have to use words that convey these qualities. Examples such as ''developed, created, published'' are crucial to communicating how you have and will operate in the workplace.

3) Don't forget the basics

Write all your work experiences and education background in reverse chronological order, that way the recruiter can go through your most recent experiences first. Then, make sure to check for spelling and grammatical mistakes, just like how we have to proofread our written assignments for College.
